The Westminster System 

The Westminster system is the modern British parliament,  it is also a democratic parliament. The parliament makes the law or rules the people get to vote and have a say.

The countries that have the Westminster system are: Canada, Australia, Singapore, Jamaica, Ireland, New Zealand and India.

The Westminster system began in the 19th century.

The Westminster system is a democratic system modeled by the UK (United Kingdom).

South Australia gave the right to vote, to all men in 1856. South Australia also was the first Australian state to give women to vote.
